Gone With The Wind (Part. 2)

Description

Gone With The Wind Part 2 – Krazee

Gone With The Wind Part 2 is a 2010 album by UK rapper Krazee and the darker, more aggressive continuation of the original Gone With The Wind.

While the first album marked a transition in Krazee’s music, Gone With The Wind Part 2 went much deeper. Angrier, darker and more personal, the album channels the frustration of being doubted, bullied, abandoned, judged and hurt. Instead of hiding from those experiences, Krazee turned them into music.

A Darker Side of Krazee

Tracks such as Never Forgive You confront people and experiences that left lasting scars, including teachers from Krazee’s school years, his father leaving and the pain of an unfaithful relationship.

On I Give, Krazee addresses being judged as an adult for mistakes and decisions made when he was younger. The song explores what happens when other people refuse to let go of your past, even when you are trying to grow beyond it.

Elsewhere, the album pushes further into storytelling and experimentation. Call a Doctor plays almost like a horror film turned into a rap song: dark, twisted and deliberately unsettling. It represents the more theatrical and unpredictable side of Krazee’s writing during this period.

Belief, Anger and Saying the Things People Avoid

I Believe takes another direction. The track is about believing in yourself, chasing what you want and refusing to accept the limitations other people place on you. It also explores Krazee’s thoughts on politics, society, the world and controversial subjects that people often think about but are afraid to say aloud.

Across the album, vulnerability sits alongside aggression. Pain becomes anger, anger becomes humour and storytelling, and personal experiences become records aimed directly at the people who inspired them.

Gone With The Wind Part 2

More confrontational and uncompromising than its predecessor, Gone With The Wind Part 2 captures Krazee at a turning point as an artist. It documents a period when the music became deeper, darker and increasingly fearless.

Originally released in 2010, the album remains a snapshot of Krazee developing the brutally personal storytelling, experimental ideas and emotionally driven UK hip hop that would shape the music that followed.
